Instant Heart Rate is a heart rate measurement app by Azumio. It extracts users' heart rate per minute by instructing users putting their index fingertip steadily on the rear camera lens (flash light will be turned on) for at least 10 seconds.
During measurement, Instant Heart Rate will beep with users' pulse, along with real time PPG line graph display. Instant Heart Rate is not so strict in finger checking though, it will not prompt finger alert dialogue even I intentionally put away my finger tip during the measurement. It even shows ridiculous reading. However, if I follow the instruction correctly, it can still yield proper heart beat result.

When measurement finish, it will prompt you with your heart rate value with its responding level of heart rate ( < 60 is good, 60 - 90 consider average, and > 90 is bad ). You can add some note and tag to your current measurement such as "Training", "Woke up" and etc. You can also share your result to Facebook or Twitter. Users can also set their preference easily on whether they want continuous measurement or auto-stop upon time limit of 15 seconds. However, in continuous mode, the measurement will auto halt if there exist some finger movement or pressure that affect the data extraction.
Moreover, you can store your heart tracking history locally and even sync to Azumio Timeline (you will have to register a free Azumio Account). Besides acts as cloud storage, Azumio Timeline acts as an one stop centre of an aggregated view of data across all Azumio Apps, including Stress Check and Stress Doctor. In the future, users will also receive recommendations and useful hints for your personal health through Azumio Timeline entries.
Furthermore, Instant Heart Rate also draft out an informative Heart Rate Zone for different target heart rate calculation based on Karvonen method factors. It looks informative, but it seems useless for me. Because I can't see its point in this app and how can I utilize this feature, it just looks like an article, afterall.

Instant Heart Rate is available for free for both iOS and Android (with limited functionalities). There is also a PRO version (paid app) available for both platforms.
