Cardiograph is a heart rate measurement tool by Macropinch. It is used to extract heart rate per minute. Same as common mobile phone heart rate monitoring tools, it requires user to put finger tip on the rear camera lens to get the heart beat reading (LED flash light will turn on). If device has no flash light attached. Users will need to sit in a place with good lighting condition to get the measurement works.
Cardiograph straight provides continuous heart beat measurement mode. Users can stop measurement at any time. Besides that, it also checks for the finger presence before the measurement starts. It provides animated heart beating graph (not a realtime PPG graph but a peak graph with pulse to pulse intervals) with beep sounds to indicate heart rate tracking.
For its demo, please check my video on Cardiograph VS Pulse Oximeter Here!
When users press the stop button, it will save the result to local history. Cardiograph supports multi profiles in one app. Different users can track their heart rate and save it differently. It also provides interesting heart facts for extra knowledge.
Cardiograph is available freely from both Android (with Ads), and charged for $1.99 in iOS.
In iOS, users get extra functionalities to export their history in full details to a portable format in which later user can send it in email, upload onto web or even printing besides sync their data across universal iOS devices using iCloud.
Enjoy! :D
